Ondo Pastor Leaves Christianity to Practise Ìṣẹ̀ṣe as a Babalawo
Olabanjo Felix Gold, an Ondo State cleric and founder of Image of God Evangelical and Prophetic Ministries, says he has left Christianity to practise Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, the indigenous Yoruba spiritual tradition. In a video shared online, he introduced himself as Ifawamiri Aworan Olodumare, a Babalawo of Ifá. He said his spiritual journey led him away from his former role as a pastor. He credited traditional elders, including his Oluwo, Baba Aifuwapẹ Oluṣẹgun Latunji, for guiding his transition. His remarks rejecting foreign religions and affirming Ìṣẹ̀ṣe have drawn mixed reactions online.
