Obi Is ‘Copy-and-Paste Politician’ – Onanuga Says Tinubu’s Legacy Outshines Him

Bayo Onanuga, the President’s adviser on information and strategy, has argued that Peter Obi lacks original thinking. He branded Obi a “copy-and-paste politician” with no tangible achievements during his eight years as Anambra State governor. Onanuga contrasted this with Bola Tinubu’s record as Lagos governor, citing institutions such as LAWMA, LASTMA, LAMATA, RRS and an ongoing rail and road masterplan that continue to deliver for residents. Meanwhile, actor-politician Kenneth Okonkwo warned that Obi’s intolerance of criticism could lead to authoritarian tendencies if he attained public office. He stressed that Nigeria needs leaders who welcome dissent and uphold freedom of expression.
