Former Southampton forward Victor Udoh has died in Abuja at the age of 21. His body was discovered under suspicious circumstances and the cause of death remains unconfirmed. Udoh joined Southampton in February 2025 but left seven months later to seek regular football with Czech second division side Dynamo České Budějovice. He began his European career with Royal Antwerp after moving from Abuja-based club Hypebuzz at 18.
