BLord Released on Bail as Feud with VeryDarkMan Intensifies
Popular socialite Linus Williams, known as BLord, has regained his freedom after a court granted him bail on self-recognizance. The judge ordered him to deposit his international passport as part of the conditions. BLord was remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre in April 2026 over allegations of impersonating online activist VeryDarkMan. He faces claims of using the activist’s image for advertising, forging documents, and creating a fake flight ticket to imply endorsement of a business app. The rivalry dates back to 2024 and boiled over in October 2025 when VDM accused BLord of selling refurbished iPhones as brand-new. Both men have publicly traded allegations, leaked private materials, and filed petitions with law enforcement. Public figures like rapper Phyno have urged a settlement, while human rights campaigner Omoyele Sowore criticized the arrest as bullying. VDM insists the matter follow due legal process, and the court battle is set to continue.
