True Sanctification: Faith Must Be Matched by Obedience
This devotional reflects on 1 John 2:4–5 and warns against a version of sanctification that separates faith from obedience to God’s commandments. It argues that genuine faith is not mere belief or presumption. Faith should produce a life of obedience, self-denial and a sincere turning away from known sin. As James teaches, faith without works is dead. May God give us grace to live according to His will, overcome sin, receive forgiveness and remain faithful in Christ.
