Regina Chukwu Defends Luminee, Questions Lifetime Condemnation of Baba Ijesha
Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has come to the defense of designer Luminee after she welcomed a child with actor Baba Ijesha. Chukwu challenged critics on Instagram, asking whether Ijesha deserves condemnation for life. In 2021, comedienne Princess accused the actor of defiling her fourteen-year-old ward. He was sentenced to five years in prison for the offence but spent about three years behind bars before a court cleared him on appeal in November. Since his release, Baba Ijesha has denied the allegations, insisting he is neither a pedophile nor a rapist. He also expressed hurt over the betrayal by former friends and colleagues.
