Dr. Jennifer Nwafor Re-elected Ebonyi ADC Chair, Sets Sights on 2027 Victory

The Ebonyi chapter of the African Democratic Congress has unanimously returned Dr. Jennifer Adibe Nwafor as State Chairman for another four-year term. Held at Aristocrats Hotel in Abakaliki, the congress drew 1,224 delegates from across the state. The ADC Electoral Committee Chair, Mr. Ikechukwu, confirmed that 1,213 accredited members endorsed Dr. Nwafor unopposed. Other officers elected include Mgbroko Chukwudi as Secretary and Okpara Emmanuel as Deputy Chairman. In her acceptance remarks, Dr. Nwafor thanked party faithful for their trust. She pledged to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and work closely with the national leadership. Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, she vowed to lead efforts that will deliver victory for ADC candidates in Ebonyi State and boost the party’s relevance nationwide.
