Suspected bandits have killed businessman Elder J.J. Agbo during an attack on his home in Ung/Zenge community, Gwantu, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. His two children were reportedly abducted during the attack. Two other residents were also said to have been killed as attacks were reported in other parts of Sanga LGA. A memorial poster circulating after the incident identifies Agbo as a community figure in Gwantu. In separate incidents, Titus Haruna and his female tenant were reportedly kidnapped in the Richu-Randa community on July 27. Polycarp Isuwa was allegedly shot while resisting abduction in Ung. Waziri, Akungbo village, and later died from his injuries.
