Nigeria’s Homegrown Kamikaze Drones: A Potential Kidnapping Killer
Fellow Kwantirimans, I have long-overdue good news. The Nigerian military and civilian defense contractors recently showcased precision suicide drones built entirely in Nigeria. These drones combine accuracy, speed, maneuverability, and destructive power inspired by Ukraine’s affordable drone warfare. A “suicide” or “kamikaze” drone is designed to track and detonate on impact with fast-moving targets like cars, motorcycles, or fleeing militants. Remote pilots can guide these small drones through tight spaces to strike specific targets. This innovation could become a true game changer. Once deployed, these drones could target kidnappers directly, spare innocent captives, and help end the kidnapping epidemic in a matter of months.
