Army Neutralizes Three Suspected Terrorists in Katsina Ambush
Soldiers from the Nigerian Army’s 17 Brigade carried out a planned ambush on Friday night along the Turare-Kitibawa-Kuka-Mai Damusa road in Dutsin-Ma LGA, Katsina State. Acting on intelligence about terrorists fleeing from the Matazu area, troops at the Forward Operating Base in FUDMA positioned themselves strategically. At around 9:40 pm, three armed suspects walked into the kill zone and a brief gun battle ensued. The military confirmed all three suspects were neutralized. This operation is part of ongoing offensives to restore security across North-West communities affected by terrorism and banditry.
