Amaechi Alleges Goodluck and Patience Jonathan Hijacked Rivers PDP, Forcing His Exit

Rotimi Amaechi says former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, took over the Peoples Democratic Party structure in Rivers State. He claimed on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief that the couple handed control of the party to others and “literally chased” him out. Amaechi linked the takeover to his role as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum at the time. He later left the APC and joined the African Democratic Congress.
