Tourist Couple Deported for Public Sex in Moving Tuk-Tuk in Phuket
A 42-year-old Peruvian woman and her 41-year-old Spanish boyfriend were arrested in Phuket after allegedly engaging in a sexual act in the back of a moving tuk-tuk. Bright yellow lights in the vehicle made their conduct visible to other motorists. Patong Police say footage shows the woman performing an act on her partner while the tuk-tuk was in motion. Officers tracked the pair, charged them with public indecency, and noted that alcohol may have played a role. Thai authorities cancelled their visas and ordered immediate deportation, citing damage to the country’s tourism image and public morality. Plans are under way to blacklist the couple from returning.
