Stand Firm Against the Devil’s Schemes

Humans and nations have often turned their swords against each other. They have blindly followed Satan, the fallen angel who deceives the whole world. From luring Adam and Eve in the garden to sowing sin throughout history, the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. His aim is not only our physical death but our spiritual separation from our Creator. Today he rages with great wrath, knowing his time is short. We must heed the Apostle’s warning: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil…walks about, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith.” Yet we have hope. Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil. If we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee. Amen.
