Minister of the Federal Capital Territory highlighted the need for stronger collaboration with EU countries to drive development, investment and cultural exchange in Abuja. Speaking at the EU Delegation in Abuja, he outlined priority sectors for partnership, including real estate, tourism, agriculture, solid minerals and waste management. He also reaffirmed the FCTA’s focus on urban and rural infrastructure, security upgrades and social welfare reforms. The minister praised recent electoral law amendments and stressed the importance of democratic maturity, improved executive-legislative relations and governance reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda. He also acknowledged security challenges and detailed ongoing efforts to strengthen intelligence, inter-agency coordination and community safety measures.
