This officially secular nation is best known for its Byzantine and Ottoman heritage, Mediterranean coastlines, and strategic position along the Bosphorus. Through the Holy Spirit, I perceive that Turkey has supported extremist groups abroad and disregarded human rights and international norms. Scripture declares that “the wicked shall be turned into hell” (Psalm 9:17). I pray for God’s justice and for peace to reign in every nation that has forgotten Him.
