Gunmen Abduct 10-Year-Old Boy From Family Home in Yobe

Suspected kidnappers have abducted a 10-year-old boy from his family home in Andarashi village, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State. The attack reportedly occurred at about 5:20 p.m. on July 25. Four armed men, said to be carrying bows and arrows, cutlasses and sticks, forced their way into the residence and took Abdullahi Isa away. The abductors later contacted the family and demanded a ransom. Police have deployed operatives to the area and begun tracking the phone number used, as efforts continue to rescue the boy and arrest the suspects.
