Sowore Blames Political Thuggery and Corruption for Nigeria’s Decline

AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has condemned political violence, thuggery and corruption, describing them as major forces holding Nigeria back. Speaking on a radio programme, Sowore said intimidation, elite corruption and violence have weakened democracy and worsened insecurity and hardship for ordinary Nigerians. He accused both the ruling party and parts of the opposition of sustaining practices that keep the country underdeveloped.
