Kano Task Force Arrests 28 Suspected Drug Dealers in Tofa Raids

The Kano State Multi-Agency Task Force on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking has arrested 28 suspected drug dealers during raids in Rimin Gado and Doka communities in Tofa Local Government Area. Officials said the operation targeted five suspected drug joints and led to the recovery of assorted illicit substances. The task force said the raids were part of efforts to curb drug-related crime and protect communities from substance abuse. The agency said it will extend the campaign beyond Kano metropolis to all 44 local government areas. Investigations are ongoing, and suspects found culpable will be prosecuted.
