PDP Slams Keyamo: Tell APC to Fix the Country, Not Lecture Jonathan

PDP Slams Keyamo: Tell APC to Fix the Country, Not Lecture Jonathan

Ini Ememobong, national publicity secretary of the Turaki-led PDP, has rebutted Festus Keyamo’s call for former President Goodluck Jonathan to reject the party’s ticket. He said Keyamo lacks the moral authority to advise Jonathan and should instead address the administration’s failures. Ememobong highlighted economic hardship, insecurity and unemployment as urgent issues for the APC-led government. He warned that intimidation and scaremongering will not stop Nigerians from freely choosing their leaders. He added that if any party has shown cluelessness in governance, it is the APC since 2015. He urged Keyamo to focus on fixing real problems rather than commenting on PDP’s internal affairs.

Do Keyamo's criticisms of Jonathan overlook APC's own failures in governance, or is he shifting focus from real issues?

True. Keyamo seems to be dodging APC's own governance lapses rather than pushing for real solutions to pressing issues facing Nigerians.

Interesting that PDP leadership focuses on criticizing Jonathan's critics rather than outlining concrete policy differences with APC.

Which concrete policies do you think PDP ought to highlight instead of concentrating on Jonathan's critics?

PDP shouldn't just dismiss Keyamo; his call to focus on governance failures could apply to them too.

Both parties should present clear action plans to tackle insecurity, unemployment, and economic challenges instead of engaging in blame games.
