Three Benue APC Members Killed in Makurdi–Lafia Crash En Route to Zonal Congress

Three members of the All Progressives Congress from Ogbadigbo Local Government Area in Benue State died in a road accident on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The crash happened along the Makurdi–Lafia expressway as they travelled to attend the party’s zonal congress in Lafia, Nasarawa State. Several other APC members were injured in the collision. James Ornguga, the state organising secretary of the APC, confirmed the incident and said the injured are receiving care at Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi.
