Sowore Pledges to Secure Freedom of Remanded Crypto Entrepreneur B-Lord

Sowore Pledges to Secure Freedom of Remanded Crypto Entrepreneur B-Lord

Omoyele Sowore has vowed to contest the continued detention of Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as B-Lord. The human rights activist plans to push for discontinuation of the criminal case against the crypto entrepreneur. B-Lord was arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of conspiracy, impersonation and unauthorized use of the identity of social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. He remains at Kuje Correctional Centre until his next hearing on April 27, 2026. Criticizing the use of the justice system to silence citizens, Sowore disclosed that he asked his lawyer, Marshal D.F. Abubakar, to withdraw from the case. He emphasized that no one should celebrate anyone’s incarceration under the color of law.

I'm not convinced activism alone will free B-Lord; legal arguments must address specific charges he faces at Federal High Court.

You could track court dates and support independent legal observers to ensure transparency as Sowore pursues discontinuation of B-Lord's case.
