Over 400 Roads Completed, 82 More Underway in Abia — Gov Otti

Governor Alex Otti announced his administration has completed 414 roads covering about 864.12 km in the past three years. He made the disclosure during the “Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians” media programme. He added that 82 additional roads, spanning roughly 212 km, are currently under construction. Each project includes street lights, drainage systems, and a zero-pothole policy backed by maintenance plans from the state’s direct labour agency. Dr Otti emphasised that quality roads help lower transport costs, boost trade, create jobs, and build local engineering capacity. He reaffirmed his commitment to ongoing infrastructure development to drive economic growth and raise living standards across Abia State.
