To GOD alone be all the glory as the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI)-the training arm of Living Faith Church under the Apostolic mandate of Bishop David Oyedepo, on Friday 23rd of September 2022, celebrated the graduation of over 30 Bible scholars at the Ajala District center. The ceremony which held at 3/5 Akinsola street within the Ajala-Ijaiye axis of Lagos and had in attendance Bishop David Oyedepo (via live transmission), with Pastor John Magaji (Area Pastor), came on the heels of the successful completion of an intensive 2 week training program (BCC and LCC) aimed at providing participants with vital divine skills to excel in life, business, ministry and the world. Established on September 1st 1986, the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) mandate was conferred on Bishop David Oyedepo by the Holy Spirit, as a ministry ordained to raise the foundation of other ministries and it is targeted at inculcating covenant excellence in Leadership, Ministry, Social, Economic and other areas of human endeavours. The Basic Certificate Course and Leadership Certificate Course training is carried out by spiritually edified servants of GOD including Bishop David Oyedepo himself, Pastor David Oyedepo (Jnr), Pastor John Magaji, Pastor Owolabi and many other anointed servants of GOD so as to empower participants positively towards distinction both in their secular as well as spiritual engagement. Speaking at the Impartation service today which featured Praise & Worship, Testimonies and Prayer sessions, the Apostle over the commission, Bishop David Oyedepo highlighted forces that empower believers dominion on earth while citing 1Corinthians 13v13 as foremost Scriptural reference. "The greatest force that gives meaning to life is Love. Growing in love with Jesus gets believers filled with all the love of GOD, which in turn keeps us in command of what GOD has prepared for those who love HIM (1Cor.2v9-10). Every provision in the Kingdom delivers on our love for GOD (1Cor.13)" Vital lessons learned worth Sharing What is Love? 1. A GOD first Lifestyle- Matt.22v37 2. A kingdom-priority lifestyle- Matt.6v33 3. Placing GOD above all else- including yourself- Luke.14v26. 4. Identifying with Jesus openly and unashamedly- Psa.119v46. Rom.1v16. Rom.8v35 5. Loving what GOD loves- Jhn.3v16. Jhn.21v15. (Passion for souls is vital). Proofs of Love (2Cor.8v8) 1. You will love HIS Word (Psa.119v97) 2. You will obey HIM (1Jhn.5v3) 3. You will HIS house (Psa.84v1-7) 4. Commitment to promoting HIS kingdom with your resources (1Chron.29v3) 5. Through your giving life (Jhn.3v16) 6. By choosing to love GOD (Jhn.21v17) Bishop rounded up by stating that "You cannot be lost being in love with GOD" and encouraged everyone to "be listed among men with a heart for GOD" The charismatic Pastor John Magaji closed the local assembly with a reminder about the Baptismal class holding at the Area Facility on Saturday before he was entreated to join in a refreshing photosession with the most recent Word Of Faith graduates.
