Trump’s Christian Crusade: Hypocrisy from Lebanon to the Vatican
I’m struck by Trump’s claims to defend Christians worldwide while he stays silent on reports of Christian villages in southern Lebanon facing destruction and displacement by Israel’s military. Instead of condemning these actions or the displacements in the occupied West Bank, he praises Israel as America’s greatest ally. He even invited a former ISIS commander—accused of crimes against Christian communities—into the Oval Office. Now he’s attacking the Pope and the Vatican for refusing to back his Greater Israel agenda against Iran. Meanwhile, his secretary of defense misquoted a line from Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction as if it were scripture. For someone who brands himself a Christian champion, this feels like a dangerous mix of politics and faith. God save us from these fake Zionist zealots.
