NECO Releases 2026 BECE Results for Over 186,000 Candidates

The National Examinations Council has released the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination results. A total of 186,291 candidates sat for the exam in 12 subjects. Candidates came from all 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and five foreign countries. The BECE ran from April 20 to April 30, 2026. Results were approved at the BECE Award Committee meeting held at NECO’s headquarters in Minna. The session was led by the Minister of Education’s representative from the Federal Ministry of Education.
