Morka Backs Wike’s Role in Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign

APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, says FCT Minister Nyesom Wike is free to lead President Tinubu’s re-election drive ahead of 2027. Speaking on a national TV programme, Morka noted that Wike has every right as a citizen to support any candidate. He urged Nigerians to respect Wike’s choice and affirmed that the minister is a free agent under the Constitution. On the PDP side, Wike’s faction has opened reconciliation talks with the Tanimu Turaki group. But Morka says the APC remains focused on its own convention and election preparations. He added that the opposition’s internal efforts won’t distract the party from gearing up for upcoming polls.
