Soludo Signs 42 of 45 Bills Passed by 8th Anambra Assembly in Three Years
Over the last three years, the 8th Anambra House of Assembly passed 45 bills. Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has assented to 42 of them. Speaker Somtochukwu Udeze said the bills included 22 executive and 19 private member proposals. The House also passed 90 motions and handled more than 100 petitions, resolving 16. Udeze described the Local Government Administration law and Homeland Law as landmark achievements. He added that committees have strengthened oversight of ministries and agencies. He highlighted town hall meetings, the training of 24 new members, and plans for a digital library and improved staff welfare ahead of the Assembly’s next milestone.
