Governor Buni Appoints Ex-SEMA Executive Dr Mohammed Goje as Acting Yobe SSG

Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Dr Mohammed Goje as Acting Secretary to the State Government of Yobe with immediate effect. The governor’s media aide announced the move in an official statement. Before this role, Dr Goje served as Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). This appointment follows the emergence of former SSG Baba Malam Wali as Governor Buni’s preferred successor for the 2027 election. The governor urged Dr Goje to commit fully to serving the state and its people.
