Iran Announces Three-Stage Funeral Plan for Late Supreme Leader Khamenei

Iranian state media has released full details of the funeral arrangements for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The ceremonies will begin in Tehran on July 4 and last three days. National leaders, religious figures and citizens will join prayers and public mourning events. On July 7, a second round of rites will take place in the holy city of Qom. The final burial is set for July 9 in Mashhad, the leader’s hometown. This will close the official mourning period.
