Anambra Police Arrest Four Over Alleged Plot to Kill Man and Seize His Land

Anambra Police say they have foiled an alleged plot to kill a man and take over his landed property, arresting four suspects during intelligence-led operations in Ukwulu, Dunukofia LGA, and Amichi, Nnewi South LGA. The suspects were arrested on August 12 by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad and Agunechemba security personnel. Police said two firearms and live ammunition were recovered during the operation. According to the command, preliminary findings link the suspects to the alleged conspiracy. Investigations are continuing to identify the intended victim, establish each suspect's role and trace the source of the weapons.
