Indiana Woman Charged After Father Found Dead With Heart Removed
A 32-year-old Indiana woman has been charged with murder after police found her father, 69-year-old Gregory Dolnics, dead inside their home in Valparaiso. Charging documents allege that he suffered multiple sharp-force injuries. Investigators also reportedly found his heart removed and placed on his abdomen. Three bloodstained knives were recovered from the home. Police said the suspect was found with cuts on her hands and denied seeing her father injured. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide. She has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bond pending further court proceedings.
