Timi Frank Alleges Conspiracy to Bar ADC and Atiku from 2027 Ballot

Timi Frank Alleges Conspiracy to Bar ADC and Atiku from 2027 Ballot

Former APC spokesman Comrade Timi Frank has accused the Presidency, INEC and elements of the judiciary of plotting to remove the African Democratic Congress and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, from the 2027 election. He says a credible source in the Presidency warned that the ADC is the main target of a coordinated plan to cripple the opposition and entrench a one-party state. Frank urges Nigerians to remain vigilant and monitor any attempts to silence dissenting voices. Frank is calling on opposition leaders, civil society and the international community to unite and defend Nigeria’s democratic process. He warns that failure to act could plunge the country into chaos.

Frank's assertion sounds convenient politically, but maybe there's more routine legal review behind this than an actual conspiracy.

Before jumping to conclusions, civil society should demand transparent documentation from INEC and the judiciary on any proposed disqualifications.
