JAMB Sets the Record Straight on Chinedu Okeke Allegations

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a statement to correct false claims about Chinedu Okeke, the 2025 UTME candidate. Contrary to online narratives, records show he is from Amuwo-Odofin LGA in Lagos State and is a fourth-year Medicine and Surgery student at UNN. JAMB relies solely on the National Identification Number (NIN) for candidate verification. The Board denies ever importing wrong data from the NIMC in 2021. Evidence suggests that Chinedu updated his own details before registering for the 2025 exam, a fact confirmed by his own representatives. To protect data integrity, JAMB now works directly with the NIMC. The Board rejects emotional appeals and insists on facts. It will notify the Medical and Dental Council if the university contradicts the current records. JAMB remains committed to fairness and accountability. It will not allow any candidate to exploit loopholes or undermine the admission process.
