Ogun WDC Promotes Use of Primary Healthcare Services in Abeokuta South
The Ward Development Committee in Ogun State held a health promotion outreach in Abeokuta South to encourage residents to use primary healthcare services. The team visited Omida Market and the Justrite area, engaging traders and other residents on services available at Ijeja Health Centre. The outreach also stressed the value of early care and regular use of nearby PHC facilities. Community leaders, women and youth groups, traditional institutions, and community-based organisations were encouraged to work with health workers to improve participation in local healthcare delivery.
