Everywhere you look, people are on the move. Nigerians work hard and save every naira for UK visas. Then Brits eye Canada. Canadians consider the US. Even Americans dream of quieter, cheaper lives. No country is perfect. Rising living costs, scarce jobs, and high taxes spark restlessness. Wherever pressure builds, immigrants become easy targets for blame. Migration isn’t new. Humans have always sought opportunity, safety, education, family, and survival. Today, developed and developing nations alike feel unsettled by inflation, housing shortages, and politics. So I ask: if everyone keeps running somewhere else, where is home? And if you could settle anywhere today, which country would you choose and why?
