Osuntokun Denies Obasanjo Is Backing Tinubu, Cites Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s ex-political adviser, Dr. Akin Osuntokun, has dismissed claims that Obasanjo is working to favour President Bola Tinubu. Osuntokun said Obasanjo helped bring Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso together and remains supportive of efforts to build an opposition alliance. He described allegations that Obasanjo is backing Tinubu’s camp as unfounded, insisting that the former president’s position is with the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso coalition.
