Israel Strikes Key Iranian Petrochemical Facility in Retaliation
Iranian media reported explosions in Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan following missile exchanges with Israel. Iran’s missile barrage was intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome without causing significant damage. In response, the Israeli military struck the Karun petrochemical complex near Mahshahr. Both Tehran and Jerusalem acknowledge partial damage to the plant and multiple strategic targets. Israel then intercepted a second wave of incoming missiles and issued an all-clear. There are no reports of casualties on either side. This cycle of strikes shows how ordinary Iranians bear the consequences of their leaders’ decisions in a tit-for-tat conflict.
