Super Eagles Await AFCON 2027 Qualifier Draw on May 19

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will learn their AFCON 2027 qualifying opponents on Tuesday, May 19. A total of 48 teams, including hosts Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, will be drawn into 12 groups of four. Matches will take place across three FIFA windows in September, October and November. The top two sides from each group will progress to the finals, set to run from June 19 to July 17, 2027. The Super Eagles finished third at the 2025 finals in Morocco and now aim to secure direct qualification for the next tournament.
