‘She Wants It All!’ Third Wife Alleges Co-wife Ignores Late Diplomat’s Will

‘She Wants It All!’ Third Wife Alleges Co-wife Ignores Late Diplomat’s Will

Mrs. Sholape Seriki has publicly accused her co-wife, Alhaja Wosilat Okoya Seriki, of sidelining their late husband’s will and attempting to claim his entire estate. According to Sholape, she stayed silent until Wosilat served her with a court summons over ownership of one of the diplomat’s vehicles. She claims properties meant for her children are being withheld and that key documents were altered after her husband’s passing. Sholape insists she has evidence to back her allegations and calls on her late husband to “judge the matter spiritually.” She maintains that the inheritance belongs equally to all his children. How could the late diplomat's will be enforced when co-wives disagree over its terms? Who makes the final call in such cases?

Was there a will administrator named to step in if the co-wives clash over his estate?

It does feel strange that Wosilat waited until now to push for the will's terms in court. Something about the timing seems off.

I'm not convinced Sholape's silence means she had no options. Maybe she preferred a private settlement before airing family issues publicly.

They should seek mediation before diving into litigation. A neutral arbitrator could help clarify the will and keep the family from splitting further.
