In 1981, he joined Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Company as a foreman before furthering his studies at Government Technical College. After serving as Students’ Union President, he worked in Abuja and earned an NCE in Building Technology in 1993. He later joined the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission and rose to Head of Department at Adekunle Ajasin University.
