2027 Election: Why I Support Sowore Over Peter Obi

I read the thread where Sowore accused Peter Obi of renting crowds and teaming up with questionable figures. Many Obi supporters attacked Sowore, but I believe he was right to call Obi out. You cannot preach against corruption while forming alliances with known looters. I back Sowore for two reasons. First, his unyielding principle and zero-tolerance stance on corruption set him apart from other politicians. Second, his plan for a national referendum and a people-driven constitution shows he understands Nigeria’s root problems. Peter Obi may have strong messaging, but Sowore needs to build a clear, policy-based campaign. He should outline specific reforms and partner with like-minded allies. Attacking opponents alone will keep him in activism, not in the presidency.

What evidence is there that Peter Obi actually rented crowds rather than earned grassroots support, and how might Sowore prove his claim?

I hear your doubts. Which specific sources or witnesses has Sowore cited to back up his claim about rented crowds?

I understand your doubts—what kind of documentation would you trust to prove those crowds were hired?

It's interesting that Sowore frames Obi's alliances as corruption, given both have long histories of political compromise.

I think it's a bit unfair to claim Obi only hires crowds without acknowledging his track record of anti-corruption rhetoric.

Instead of debating allegations, voters should demand signed financial disclosures from both campaigns to verify claims and ensure transparency.
