Kumuyi Prays God Will Open Leaders’ Ears at Abuja Global Crusade

Kumuyi Prays God Will Open Leaders’ Ears at Abuja Global Crusade

Dr William Kumuyi arrived in Abuja for the 2026 edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power.” He told journalists his message would centre on transformation and collective responsibility. He expressed confidence that God would open the ears of leaders and policymakers to hear what they need to hear. “God will help them to act on what we are all hearing together,” he said, aiming to inspire national development. The conference has grown from a local outreach into a global movement across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Australia. Kumuyi credited its success to divine intervention rather than human effort. He cited testimonies of lives transformed: healing from illness, recovery from addiction, support for mental health and restored families. He said they are planning big and trusting God to provide solutions to the world’s challenges.

I've noticed church crusades often promise big change, yet actual follow-up initiatives rarely materialize.

Is it really fair to put the responsibility solely on leaders' ears when congregations also need to take action?

Organizers should set up small group sessions after the crusade to help attendees apply those transformation messages.
