Four NYSC Corps Members and Soldier Burnt to Death in Adamawa Crash
A head-on collision between a military gun truck and a commercial Hummer bus on June 3 along the Girei-Song road in Adamawa State left six people dead. The bus flipped over and burst into flames, killing all five passengers on board, including four NYSC members, and one soldier from the military vehicle. Adamawa State Police confirm that two of the corps members were indigenes of Kaduna State, another has been named, while one victim remains unidentified. Emergency responders have evacuated the bodies to Specialist Hospital, Yola, and are working to locate next of kin. The Commissioner of Police in Adamawa has extended condolences to the families of the deceased, the National Youth Service Corps, and the Nigerian Armed Forces.
