Adamawa Hospital Cleaner Arrested in Kano for Stealing NYSC Doctor’s N18m Toyota

Adamawa State Police arrested a 26-year-old hospital cleaner, Mohammed Dan-Azumi, for allegedly stealing a 2016 Toyota Corolla Sport valued at around N18 million. The vehicle belonged to a medical doctor serving in the NYSC at a local hospital. According to a police statement on July 21, the doctor had asked the cleaner to wash his car, but the suspect drove it away and fled to Kano State. Officers from the State Intelligence Department quickly traced and apprehended him there. The stolen vehicle has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing. The suspect will be arraigned once inquiries conclude.
