Davido Celebrates Adeleke’s Re-election as Osun Governor

Afrobeats star Davido has celebrated the re-election of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in Osun State. A viral video showed the singer becoming emotional after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Adeleke winner of the 2026 Osun governorship election. Adeleke, who ran on the Accord Party platform, polled 511,067 votes to secure a second term. Davido thanked Osun residents for their support, writing: “We did it, Unc.”
