Egwuekwe Outlines Warri Wolves’ Rebuild Plan for 2026/27 NPFL Season
Former Super Eagles defender Azubuike Egwuekwe says Warri Wolves are rebuilding for a stronger 2026/27 NPFL campaign after finishing 13th last season with 49 points. The club’s coordinator said the recruitment of young, disciplined and committed players is already underway. He added that the pre-season camp will begin soon as the team prepares for the new campaign. Egwuekwe believes his experience in the NPFL and abroad will support head coach Hassan Abd’Allah and the technical crew. Former Warri Wolves players Austin Johnny and Abayomi Olorunda are also part of the club’s staff.
