MAPOLY Expels 365 HND Students for Forged Admission Documents

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta has expelled 365 students for submitting fake National Diploma results and forged academic transcripts to gain entry into its Higher National Diploma programmes. A recent verification exercise uncovered the fraud. The breakdown shows 156 students from the School of Communication and Information Technology, 117 from Business and Management Studies, 54 from Science and Technology, 36 from Engineering and two from Environmental Studies. The Rector warned all prospective applicants against using fake credentials. The polytechnic emphasised its zero-tolerance policy on academic misconduct and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparency, credibility and professional standards in tertiary education.
