Experience God’s New Mercy Every Morning
“His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22-23) The Hebrew word for “new” (hadas) implies a mercy you’ve never experienced before. Each day brings a fresh, tailored kindness that fits your needs and mistakes. Try this exercise: calculate your age in days. That number equals the unique mercies God has shown you—7,665 by age 21 and about 23,725 by retirement. Mercy means withholding what you deserve; grace means giving what you don’t. As 1 Peter 4:10 explains, God’s manifold grace is multifaceted. Like snowflakes, no two doses of His grace ever look the same.
