FCTA Warns Venues: Host Illegal Groups and Face Title Revocation

In a press release, the Federal Capital Territory Administration warns owners of event centres, hotels and public venues against hosting illegal organisations. It states that facilities used for gatherings that threaten peace in the capital will have their land titles revoked. Venue operators are urged to verify the legality of all groups renting their premises. During this political season, centres must deal only with bodies recognised by INEC and keep proper records of every transaction. I believe this directive targets a faction of the PDP planning to adopt Dr Goodluck Jonathan as its presidential candidate.
