US Lobbying Firm Offers Asylum and Whistleblower Protection to PFIPC Director

A United States lobbying group, Von Batten-Montague-York, says it will help Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, seek asylum in the US and secure whistleblower protection. Dr. Von Batten has called on US authorities, including Congress and Treasury officials, to investigate allegations that senior Nigerian government figures misappropriated World Bank-funded projects tied to Nigeria’s national budget. He says he has spoken directly with Adeyemi and found him credible. The firm plans to brief members of Congress and senior figures in the US administration about the claims. Adeyemi alleges he was appointed by the President’s Chief of Staff but faced pressure to divert 45% of the council’s budget and went into hiding over safety fears. The Presidency denies all wrongdoing, and the accusations remain unverified.
